កម្ពុជា​នឹង​រៀបចំ​ទិវាជាតិ​សហគ្រាស​ធុនមីក្រូ ​តូច និង​មធ្យម​​​ លើក​ទី១ នៅថ្ងៃទី២៧ ខែមិថុនា ឆ្នាំ២០២៤ ក្រោមប្រធានបទ "ពង្រឹងប្រព័ន្ធអេកូឡូស៊ីសហគ្រាស​ធុនមីក្រូ ​តូច និង​មធ្យមដើម្បីកំណើនកាន់តែ ប្រសើរ"។  កម្មវិធីនេះនឹងប្រព្រឹត្តទៅក្រោមអធិបតីភាព ឯកឧត្តម អគ្គបណ្ឌិតសភាចារ្យ អូន ព័ន្ធមុនីរ័ត្ន ឧបនាយករដ្ឋមន្ត្រី រដ្ឋមន្ត្រីក្រសួងសេដ្ឋកិច្ច និងហិរញ្ញវត្ថុ។

មហាសន្និបាតអង្គការសហប្រជាជាតិបានកំណត់យកថ្ងៃទី២៧ ខែមិថុនា​ជា​រៀង​រាល់ឆ្នាំ ជា​ទិវាជាតិ​សហគ្រាស​ធុនមីក្រូ ​តូច និង​មធ្យម​​​ ដើម្បីបង្ហាញពីតួនាទី​ដ៏​សំខាន់​របស់សហគ្រាស​ធុនមីក្រូ ​តូច និង​មធ្យម ក្នុងការលើកកម្ពស់​កំណើន​ប្រកបដោយ​ចីរភាព បរិយាបន្ន និងភាពធន់។ នៅទូទាំងពិភពលោក សហគ្រាសធុនមីក្រូ តូច និង​មធ្យម​មានប្រមាណ៩០% នៃអាជីវកម្មទាំងអស់, ផ្តល់ការងារប្រមាណ៦០-៧០% និង​រួម​ចំណែក៥០% នៃផលិតផលក្នុងស្រុកសរុប។

The United Nations General Assembly has designated June 27th as International MSME Day to highlight the critical role MSMEs play in sustainable, inclusive, and resilient economic growth. Globally, MSMEs constitute 90% of businesses, 60-70% of employment, and 50% of GDP.

In Cambodia, MSMEs are the backbone of the economy, playing a crucial role in employment, food security, and poverty reduction. With the potential to increase value-added, diversify products and services, expand markets, and integrate into global value chains, MSMEs are key drivers in Cambodia's journey to becoming an upper middle-income country by 2030 and a high-income country by 2050.

The National MSME Day 2024 aims to increase awareness and provide MSMEs with practical insights and best practices for unlocking their growth potential and global competitiveness through formalization and compliance, standards adoption, access to finance and market intelligence utilization.

The event will facilitate partnerships and networking opportunities among MSMEs, government, private stakeholders, and development partners to support the growth and competitiveness of the sector. It will also seek to contribute to the development of an inclusive and supportive enabling ecosystem for MSMEs to thrive in Cambodia.
